As a service to the school community, students are tasked with the job of designing and building wire mesh-covered platforms on which potted plants can be placed in the school nursery.  Sturdy 2 x 4 frames are constructed by students and both wood and wire mesh are covered with generous coats of paint to help protect it from the elements.
