This quick project requires students to follow a simple plan and apply their measurment and layout skills.  Careful markings and cuts help to ensure the quality of sound that each student's whistle makes when blown.  Inaccurate measurements and rushed cuts often leads to a "dud" that won't make the desired sound that mimics a train's whistle.
