After students' attempts in previous years failed to fit each dining hall table with plexiglass placards that could withstand the abuse of elementary and middle school students,  the design was "beefed up" to incorporate wood and plexiglass into a stronger placard that identifies the different numbering systems employed by the elementary and middle school into a centerpiece that can also display seating assingments and even a vase of flowers!
